Preparing for HIQA – Part 2
This article is the second in a series of articles designed to support service providers in preparing for registration and inspection of their services by the Health Information and Quality Authority. This article focuses on preparing your staff for the process. It draws on the lessons learned from published reports of HIQA inspections of Older Persons Services and also from our experience in working with service providers in that area who have undergone the registration and inspection process.
